Women's Breakfast event

Women's Breakfasts

Our next Women's Breakfast is on Saturday 9 October at 8.30am in the Church Hall.  Our guest speak is Rev Penelope Swithinbank, an Anglican Priest, Spiritual Director and author.  Penelope will be sharing ways in which we can re-energise after tough times.

We are very excited to be able to host this event in person after over a year of zoom!  Come and enjoy a delicious breakfast which will be served to you at your table in order to keep as Covid-safe as we possibly can.

Booking is essential. Contact the church office to book your place.  Numbers are limited so please book promptly.

Foundations (Tuesdays, 10.00 - 11.15am) - currently on hold.

Foundations is a group of women who meet weekly during term time in St Nicolas Upper Hall in order to encourage each other through the challenges of life we chat, study the Bible and pray together. Babies and pre-school children are welcome and a creche is available.

The women at St Nicolas also meet for one-off events such as craft evenings and 'coffee and chat' in people's homes. A women's weekend is also run occasionally, which is a good opportunity to spend more time together and grow in our faith in God.
