Baptism and Confirmation
Baptism
We hold baptisms (also called Christenings) for children as part of our main Sunday morning service at 10am. If you are interested in having your child baptised then we would love to meet with you to talk more. One of our clergy will come and visit you. We also ask parents to attend a short baptism course to think through what baptism means for you and your child.
We also baptise adults, sometimes by full immersion. Full immersion baptisms often take place on Easter Sunday. However if you would like to get baptised you don’t need to wait until Easter – come and talk to us now.
Confirmation
We normally hold a confirmation service about once a year in St Nicolas. Confirmation candidates attend a four to five week preparation course.
